Mick Kemp, 43, recently returned from a once in a lifetime trip, won when he entered Yamaha's 'Super Ténéré Test Ride to Adventure' demonstrator draw held earlier in the year.
Mick, a gas fitter from Whitstable in Kent, turned adventurer and accompanied world traveller and world record holder Nick Sanders in a 2,200 mile ride from the Spanish enclosure of Cueta across the Atlas Mountains to the desert oasis of Merzouga before heading south to the Anti-Atlas Mountains, riding Yamaha's XT1200Z Super Ténéré.
Mick was riding with 18 other adventurers on a journey Nick Sanders has run for 12 years, "It was really nice riding with Mick. He was a real gentleman, and we were both on Super Ténérés, the perfect bike for the job." Said Nick.
